We met Dr.Abdul Kalam on 7th October 2009 at Raj Bhavan, Chennai during his one day visit.  Though, originally, we were given only one hour for this meeting ai, Dr Kalam spent with us nearly 1 hour and 45 minutes. Initially he was discussing about a person called Mr.Balbir singh from punjab who cleaned the river of 160Km within 2.5yrs and in another Incident from coimbatore a Woman called Ms.vanitha Mohan who preserved and cleaned a lake with the help from the Collector. He insisted us to concentrate on developing the water bodies, then becoming a good citizen, he/she must have righteousness heart, and he gave a quote which is for your reference.

The source where you get righteousness is from Parents with spiritual surroundings & the children’s Primary school teachers.

1. Participate in Lead India movement- More children need to take 10 point oath; there by develop strong human value, good citizen as part of India vision 2020. 

2. Participate in Improving the watershed project, start from the tanks near by you. 

3. Plant trees (Min 5 per child)
